about the artwork

The artwork on this website was something I discovered by chance after my uncle’s unfortunate passing from cancer in mid-2011. A rancher and musician from the Sandhills of Nebraska, he came to computers late in life – and more as a hobby than anything else. Among the items he left was an external hard drive, which is where I found a number of images attached, including the ones I’ve place on this site. They are simple images, presumably created with Microsoft Paint and arguably nonsensical in many cases, but I like them for that very reason – they’re a simple, colorful, and undeniably unique way to liven up my site.

Thank you, Marvin, for leaving them behind!
